Our story begins in Istanbul in 1993. Fashion Point was established to move beyond the industry’s status quo and provide extraordinary service to our customers. We are a unique denim manufacturer, pushing fashion boundaries and doing what has not been done before. Responsible Earthkeeping

SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is a balance between nature and human beings. Our lives depend on natural resources and these resources are not infinite. For this reason, we work to minimize our impact on the environment and invest in innovative tools to protect precious resources. We focus on climate change and energy, in addition to water and chemical management.

Climate Change and Energy

We minimize our energy consumption and operational emissions to mitigate climate change. We aim to increase awareness of energy efficiency and resource use by taking into account energy performance improvements in the design and modification of our facilities, equipment, systems, and processes. We are committed to fulfilling legal and ethical requirements related to energy. We support this commitment, in part, through extensive employee training and thoughtful facility improvements. As an example, we have completed all the necessary steps to begin implementing our newest solar energy project to generate sustainable clean energy and we aim to finalize this project in 2021.

WATER MANAGEMENT

We put our effort into conserving natural resources by designing sustainable products that require less water and by implementing water recycling in our production processes. For this, we have a complete system with state-of-the-art Eflow nebulization, G2 ozone and laser machines, and our own Smart Lab organization where we do R&D studies of these systems. In this way, we create cutting edge products that are completely focused on our sustainability goals, implementing measures far beyond classical methods. We use H2Zero, a 100% water recycling system, to recycle approximately 25-30% of the water we use. By pursuing plans to enlarge this system, we aim to fully recycle and minimize our water consumption in the next two years.

CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT

We care about responsible use of resources for a sustainable world. Using our EIM (Environmental Impact Measurement) score as a baseline, we work to use chemicals and energy more efficiently by scoring and tracking all our chemical applications from design to production. Fashion Point only uses chemicals on the condition that they support the ZDHC program and comply with all international criteria. In the sustainable product cycle, we use fewer chemicals at more controlled rates, resulting in less negative environmental impact. Our goal is to continue to decrease our chemical usage each year. This reduction in chemical use will also help increase our recycled water amount to up to 50%. In order to minimize environmental damage, we use ECO-Rock Stone, a polymer-based product, as an alternative to the pumice stones generally used in the washing process. Pumice stone is a fossil-based stone obtained from nature, but it is in limited supply. As a result of our research, we have determined that using ECO-Rock Stone both lessens the environmental impact of stone washing and uses resources more efficiently. The ECO-Rock Stone can be used many times and lasts longer than pumice. Most importantly, it does not create a waste load on our world.
